DIVINE HEALING – SERMON

PSALM 103; ISAIAH 53

Luke 6:17b-19 NLT “There were people from all over Judea and from Jerusalem and from as far north as the seacoasts of Tyre and Sidon. ¹⁸ They had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases; and those troubled by evil spirits were healed. ¹⁹ Everyone tried to touch him, because healing power went out from him, and he healed everyone.  

There is NOT a DISPENSATION of GOD’S BENEFITS

#1. WHY…?  

Isaiah 53:5 (NKJ) “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His striped we are healed.”

1 Peter 2:24 "Who himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness by whose stripes you were healed."

ISAIAH 53:4 (Amplified) “But [in fact] He has borne our griefs and He has carried our sorrows and pains; Yet we [ignorantly] assumed that He was stricken, struck down by God and degraded and humiliated [by Him].  

#2. HOW?

Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith, that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God not of works least anyone should boast."

#3. WHAT IF…?

Philippians 1:20b “Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death.”

1 Peter 1:6-7 "In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.”

If DIVINE HEALING and HEALTH is a BENEFIT, is there ANYTHING that could BLOCK GOD’S BENEFIT of DIVINE HEALING?

1. APOSTASY

2. LEGALISM and LUKEWARM FAITH

3. UNBELIEF
