PSALM 103

BENEFIT of REDEPTION:

#1. AGORAZO

Revelation 5:9 “And they sang a new song with these words: “You are worthy to take the scroll and break its seals and open it. For you were slaughtered, and your blood has RANSOMED people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation."

Philippians 2:6-11 Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. ⁷Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, ⁸ He humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.⁹ Therefore, [BECAUSE HE DID THAT] God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name that is above all other names, ¹⁰ That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, ¹¹ and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

#2. EXAGORAZO

Galatians 3:13 "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us."

Romans 7:14 We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin.

Hosea 3:1-2 Then the Lord said to me, “Go and love your wife again, even though she commits adultery with another lover. This will illustrate that the Lord still loves Israel, even though the people have turned to other gods and love to worship them.² I bought her back for fifteen pieces of silver and five bushels of barley and a measure of wine."

#3. LUTROSIS

Hebrews 9:12 “With his own blood – not the blood of goats and calves – he entered the Most Holy Place once for all time and secured our redemption forever "

#4. APOLUTROSIS

Ephesians 1:7 "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace"

Galatians 4:7 “Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.”

Here’s WHAT I’m TELLING YOU:

• Jesus entered the MARKET PLACE of SLAVES.
• Jesus Christ, the Son of God, BECAME A SLAVE so that we could be redeemed out of the SLAVE MARKET.
• He PAID the FULL PRICE for US, (but he didn’t just buy us,)
• He returned us to our ORIGNIAL state, which are SONS and DUGHTERS of the MOST HIGH GOD!

Luke 3:38 “Kenan was the son of Enosh. Enosh was the son of Seth. Seth was the son of Adam. Adam was the son of God."

1 Corinthians 15:45 “The scripture tells us the first man, Adam, became a living person. But the last Adam, this is Christ, is a life-giving spirit.”
